Anne Liddy Joins LivaNova as Chief Legal Officer

LivaNova PLC has named Anne Liddy as chief legal officer, effective Aug. 31. Liddy will oversee the company’s global legal and compliance function and become an executive leadership team member.

Liddy has more than two decades of experience advising global healthcare and life sciences companies on complex legal, regulatory, M&A, and compliance matters. She joins LivaNova from Hologic Inc., where she most recently served as general counsel, leading a global legal organization and advising senior leadership and the Board of Directors on critical business, transactional, and compliance initiatives.

“Anne is a highly accomplished executive with an established record of achievement, guiding organizations through complex regulatory and business environments,” LivaNova CEO Vladimir Makatsaria stated. “Her deep healthcare expertise and collaborative, strategic leadership style will be instrumental as we advance our core business and innovation agenda to deliver long-term value for patients, customers, and shareholders.”

Before her role as general counsel, Liddy held leadership positions of increasing responsibility within Hologic’s legal organization, with oversight spanning commercial, intellectual property, employment, compliance, and litigation matters. Earlier in her career, she was corporate counsel at Pfizer Inc., supporting the consumer healthcare business. She began her legal career at Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston.

Liddy earned a bachelor of arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross and a Juris Doctor from Cornell University Law School.
